It's a ........

GIRL!!!
These pictures are really small and I tried zooming in but with no luck. So if you look REALLY closely you should see nothing in between the little legs! When we were at Fetal Fotos we were watching on a big screen tv so it was a lot easier to see three tiny lines, but in this pic it's so small it turns into just a solid white area. But I know what I saw so we are going with GIRL!! The boys are so excited to have a sister and come up with new names all the time! I have my ultrasound with my OB in about a month so hopefully I will get another better picture to add! We are so excited and still a little shocked! Now if it was only July :)

4th of July

We had a great 4th weekend! To start off, Eric had the whole weekend off, which rarely happens on a holiday! On the 3rd we went to watch the fireworks in Provo. The boys loved running around with the other kids and then laying on our blankets to watch the "HUGE" fireworks! On sunday we had to help my dad get the floats in order for the grand parade the next day. The boys love this because we drive around in golf carts and color numbers with chalk! They think it is so fun, but we really are working. The next morning I was up bright and early to be at the parade route by 6 am! I was in charge of the pre parade again this year so I was busy that morning getting everyone in order and ready to go. After my parade was done I met up with Eric and the boys and watched my dad's wonderful parade! The Provo police estimated 300,000 people watching along the route! This is not some little town parade! Anyway, after the parade we went home to take and nap and then Eric and I went with a few of my friends to see Eclipse again! Eric was a really good sport and said it was good! And we ate at Cheesecake Factory before, I love that place! We drove home after the movie to go do fireworks at my parents house! They LOVE fireworks!! Aunt Carlie does fireworks with them a lot in the month of June, but this night we did tons of them! It was a great weekend and I am so thankful for living in this great country and enjoying all the freedoms we have!! Aiden watching Carlie do snakes! He loved those!I love Grady's cheesy smile!I sure love my boys!!!

Eclipse!!!

This night felt like a long time coming, and now it is already gone! :( But I had soooo much fun and LOVED the movie! It of course was too rushed but the only way to stop that is to have a 5 hour movie! We had 17 people come with us to the movie, first we went to dinner at CPK! Then we all drove over to Jordan Commons to be among all of the other "crazies" The place was packed!! But we had assigned seats so we weren't worried about the crowds of people! The movie was great, but I of course cried for Jacob! I love him! Now I'm sad because the next movie doesn't come out for almost a year and a half! What will I do in the meantime!?!?!? :)

Backstreet's Back ALRIGHT!!!

On June 23rd I went to my fifth Backstreet Boys concert! I have been an avid fan since I was in 9th grade, but it's been almost nine years since my last concert! So when I heard they were coming to Utah I had to go! I set my alarm and got online right as the tickets went on sale. To my amaze and excitement ALL of the tickets were only $35 and the tickets it pulled up for me were floor seats row 15!!! I couldn't believe it! I've never been anywhere near that close and for such a great price! So I bought tickets for Carlie, Leslie and I! It seemed like years later, but finally June 23rd came! Carlie and I had planned to go to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner right before, but we didn't get there in enough time so we hurried and ate next door at CPK! I'm not kidding hurried, we were in, ate, paid, walking out the door in 30 minutes! When we were eating a few different workers came up to us asking if we were going to the concert because of our t-shirts. They all told us how jealous they were and they had wished they were going. As we were walking out of the restaurant about 5 or 6 of them yelled to us, "Have fun at your concert!" We felt like celebrities! So we were back on schedule for the concert, we met up with Leslie and drove downtown to the Energy Solutions Arena. We got special "Floor" wrist bands and sat in our amazing seats! The concert didn't start til forever later and while we were waiting Carlie noticed some seats even closer that no one had been in the whole time waiting. So we quickly moved up and sat on row 6!!!! We were soooo close, we could see every expression and the sweat dripping down their faces! At one point during the concert A.J. came down into the crowd and sang to a lady in the front row! I was soooo close to him, I could almost reach out and touch him! It was such a fun concert! Carlie and I were singing and dancing the ENTIRE time! We never sat down! We were really sad when it was over! :( and Leslie and I were sore for a few days later! (our bodies aren't as young as they used to be) I was so glad I went and got to see them sooo close, it was my dream come true!

Carlie and I before we left for the concert!
Anxiously waiting for the concert to start! (all three t-shirts belong to me)
When they first came on stage!

A.J. kept waving to me! :)
This is when A.J. came down to the crowd! I was sooo close!

Grady in the baby contest!

My parents found out that the Freedom Festival Baby Contest had added an older category so Grady could enter the contest this year. They were bugging me and bugging me to do it. So we entered him in it, got him a cute new outfit and off we went. It was on June 19th and when Grady went up to the judges he was really shy. They tried to get him to talk a little and he said everything in a whisper, but it was cute anyway. Then we had to wait for the results forever! While we waited they had a play area for the kids. Aiden and Grady loved that part! Finally it was time for awards. His catergory came.... and went. He didn't place in his age group, so we were let down, but never really expected to win. Then they announced the honorable mention for the whole contest and Grady was one of the three names!! He got a medal and t shirt to wear in the parade on the 5th! He was pretty happy, he kept telling everyone, "I won, I won!" It was a fun day and after the contest we went to Toy Story 3, which we all loved! To bad my baby isn't really a baby anymore! Playing with the kids in the peanuts!

Aiden's Newest Trick!

After watching my friend Kirstin's blog all the time of Damon riding his bike without training wheels, Aiden thought he was ready to try it himself! He asked Eric to take off his training wheels, so this last Tuesday he did and Aiden was pretty sure that he would be able to ride it right away! I was amazed at how quickly he got it! The first day if we held his seat until he got some speed, he could ride all over by himself! No major crashes! The next day I showed him how to push with his feet until he got enough speed to pedal. Now he starts, rides and stops all by himself! He's already finding little hills to ride over when he goes to the church parking lot! He is so proud of himself, everyone he sees he tells them about how he can ride his bike! I can't believe he's growing up so fast! Today a bike with no training wheels, tomorrow a drivers license! :(

Memorial Day

During my blogging hiatus I didn't blog about my Grandpa Kennard passing away, so I want to write about our trip to Logan to see his grave. Megan and I drove together with my boys in her car. (They love aunt Megan's car) We were almost there when Grady said "I'm sick I need to go to the doctor!" I think he was either getting car sick or just wanted to get out! He has learned when he doesn't feel good he asks to go to the doctor. So we got there and picked up some flowers for his grave and then went to the cemetery. His headstone just got put in and it looks great! I love that it is a standing one and that they can put the names of all their children on the back. My grandma wrote a beautiful poem that they put on the back as well. It's hard to think that I will never see him again in this life, but I know I will in the next! He was such a wonderful man who lived an amazing life and raised a beautiful family! I am so grateful to be in that family! And to know that we will be an eternal family! My grandpa served in the military when he was young so when we were at his burial site back in December they had a couple soldiers there and they were going to play taps but the trumpet didn't work, so on Monday we had my cousin Nathan play it. He did a great job, it made us all cry! It was great to be there with family remembering a wonderful man! After, we went to a park and ate lunch and the boys played with their cousins. It was a great day, we love and miss you Grandpa!
