Zoo trip number 3!

Since I started this blog this is my third post about going to the zoo! Well there isn't much to say about the trip, it's pretty much the same as always! But we got some cute pictures and of course the boys loved it! Grady really enjoys it now because he walks a lot of the time with Aiden and can see the animals and tells us what they say! Aiden just wanted to get in with the zebras again! We had a fun day together!

BYU basketball game!!

Tonight me my dad my two sisters and the boys went to a BYU basketball game! The boys had a lot of fun!! They were cheering and clapping and Aiden would yell, "B Y cougars!! B Y cougars" over and over!! He really liked the flipping cheerleaders too! Megan told Aiden that he could be a basketball player too and she said look that's you, pointing to the players. He said Courtney look that's me!! Grady really enjoyed the stairs and running in the hallway the second half of the game! But he still clapped everytime he heard the crowd cheer! It was a lot of fun and some work but I'm glad they had a good time! Oh and Aiden ate two whole hot dogs!! WOW!

Sledding!! Sort of!

After watching Brooke's video of her kids sledding with their dog Aiden has been begging me to go sledding! So we went to grandpa's in hopes of sledding down a hill of some kind! When we got there we found no snow on the hills and only some in the backyard! So we had to pull Aiden! This is a lot more work than it sounds like! We all had to take turns being his horse! But he loved it! So his first sledding experience was a success but hopefully next time we can find some good hills!

Disneyland!! Feb 2-6 2009

I haven't posted this trip yet because there's a lot to say! It was by far my best disneyland trip yet, and I've been on a lot! Staying 4 days and staying at the disneyland hotel were two things I've never done which helped make it wonderful!! Plus we flew(I hate driving) so that also helps! I loved the hotel, it just felt like you never left the park because everything was decorated disney and random characters walked the halls saying hi to the kids and the pool was awesome! We only got to swim one day but Aiden loved it!! It was a peter pan pool with an ariel themed hot tub! I think he loved the slide the most he only went down it a hundred times! We had sooo much fun at the parks! Aiden's favorites: Buzz Lightyear, Jungle Cruise, Dumbo, Small World, Fantasmic and Tarzan treehouse! Least favorites: Matterhorn, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Honey I shrunk the Audience! Grady loved everything but seeing Tigger and Pooh was his favorite! We were able to go back to the hotel for naps and since it wasn't crowded we got pretty much every ride in that we wanted! I'm telling you I couldn't ask for a better trip! We had perfect weather and it started raining right when our van came to pick us up to go home! And to top it all off Eric bought us season passes!! So anyone who wants to go to disneyland give me a call and I'm on board! Thank you Eric for the trip of my Life! You were so wonderful the whole trip and really tried to make it great for me and the boys, even though it's not your idea of a relaxing trip! We will remember it forever!

Chuck E. Cheese

With the weather never being warm I feel bad that the boys stay inside most of the days! So we have gone to Chuck E. Cheese a few times lately so the boys could run around and play fun games! Aiden loves it, he knows what games are his favorites and doesn't need any help from mom starting them or playing them! Twice now he has won 50 tickets in one of those hard ticket games on the first try! He must have a gift because no strategy was involved!! Grady loves to follow him everywhere and try to play anything he does! But most of all he loves the big characters that sing on the stage! He could watch them all day! But when Chuck E. came out and was waving to all the kids and taking pictures with them he started crying! So I guess he likes them from a distance! (It will be interesting to see how he does at Disneyland with those characters!) Anyway, we have a lot of fun and Aiden always wins enough tickets to get a prize to take home! He is very proud of his collection!!

Another Reunion!!

Lately it has been the year of reunions for me! I love it! Catching up with all my old friends and seeing what they have been doing the past 8 years and meeting their adorable kids! Well on Jan. 10th I had another get together with my good friends from my ballet days! You'd never know it by looking at me now, but these girls can tell you that I danced ballet for many years! I wanted to find an old picture of us to attach to this but they are at my mom's house, but I will try to find one! We went and had lunch at Allie's house and talked about our lives and looked through wedding albums! It was really fun and I'm glad to keep in touch with these great girls! I will always remember our Saturday at the studio making up the dance to the "dreams" song! Thanks for a great day girls, I hope to do it again soon! And thanks Marisa so getting it set up!

Santa Baby!!!

I know that I haven't posted forever! That's what the holidays will do I guess! I plan to post some Christmas things but first I wanted to share what Santa brought me this year!! (I act like a kid in a candy store about it) He is taking me on a 4 day trip to Disneyland!!! Some may call this my mother ship, and it is!! I am soooo excited! Aiden has already been three times before and Grady once but this is the first time Eric is coming with the boys! So we are really excited around here! We hope to leave in Feb or March we will see!! Just thought I'd let you know I have the best husband around, I mean Santa!! :)
