Kennard Family Reunion

We just got back from a fun filled weekend up at BYU's timp lodge near Sundance! Every summer we have a family reunion for my dad's side of the family up there! It was lots of fun and Aiden had a great time with all of his cousins! He rode tricycles and found treasure and collected catepillars! It's a big cabin that fits our whole big family. It has a big backyard area where we played volleyball and the kids went swimming and the brave went down the homemade water slide! (It's a pretty big hill and is filled with really cold water!) We had a family talent/skit night where we made fools of ourselves, but at least the boys looked cute! And of course we ate lots of food and had plenty of treats!! I love my Aunt Pam's dessert! It was a really fun weekend and it was great to catch up with all our family! I look forward to doing it again next year!

Grady learned to play pool!!
One of the many catepillars we found, playing in Grady's hair!
Aiden sliding into the pool! (filled with warm water from the kitchen!)
My ten month old Baby Grady!

Swimming all day long!!

(pictures from our family skit are still to come!)

Happy Birthday Eric!

Today was Eric's 27th birthday! I can't believe he is that old! So I wanted to post a pic of him when he was younger! Here he is with his mom and chad, trevor, and lauren! Eric is the one making the funny face! He's so cute! So for his birthday we went to P F Changs with my family and had cake and ice cream after! He is such a great father and husband and I just wanted to say how much I love him and how great he makes my life! Happy Birthday Eric, I love you!!!

Summerfest weekend!

aiden, tara, grady, aspen, leslie, and clayton
This weekend was Summerfest here in Orem. My friend Leslie and her kids came to watch the parade as well as Lauren, My mom, and Megan. We also ran into Riley and Emily Anderson. Riley was in the guard with Eric and just got back from Iraq. The kids really loved the parade! We had front row seating since the parade route goes right in front of my house. (The only perk about living on Center St.) They got a lot of candy and really enjoyed the floats! Aiden loved Captain Jack Sparrow and Aspen loved all the Princesses she saw! (Mostly the Cities Royalty girls) Even through all the noise Grady managed to get a little nap in! The Costco float was throwing out something but we couldn't see what it was and when Aiden went to catch it, it was a role of toilet paper! But he didn't mind, his exact words were, "We did it!" once he grabbed it! The kids had lots of fun playing together and Leslie and I had a long needed catching up session! I had a great time and hope to hang out with her and her kids more often! Thanks for coming to visit Les! You gotta love summer and the events that make it memorable!

Don't forget the toilet paper! Thanks Costco!!

Cupcakes at Grandpa's

Tonight we went over to Grandpa's house and made cupcakes! The boys really enjoyed eating the cupcakes and I enjoyed cleaning them up after! Ha ha Aiden was in charge of licking the bowl clean, and all utensils!

And if any of you know Grady, you know his favorite part was eating the finished product! He is preparing himself for his first birthday coming up in August! Food makes him so happy!

He finally did it!!!!

Yesterday Grady finally started to crawl! We were starting to get worried since he is nine months old now! But just like magic he figured it out and is getting better each try! Now I have to get everything in the house safe for a crawling baby! It's amazing how I am still so excited and proud even though we've been through this once before! And to all of you who thought he was to chubby to move himself, well he showed you!! We love you Grady!
