Santa Clause

The boys went to see Santa today! Aiden went right up to him and sat on his knee and told him he wanted a train for Christmas! Grady was fine when he was looking at him but as soon as we put him on his lap, he started screaming! They loved the train that drives around Santa the most, they rode it twice and loved every minute! I love Christmas because of moments like these!Oh yeah and on Saturday they got to meet the Grinch at my mom's Christmas party! Grady thought he was a little questionable too but no crying!

First Hair Cut!

It's been a long time coming but we finally cut Grady's hair. He did so good and didn't even cry or move around too much! He looks a lot older to me know but the old hair do was looking a lot like a little girl! I could almost put it in a ponytail!! Here are the before and after pictures!

Festival of the Trees

For the past few years my mom and sisters and I have gone to the festival of the trees in SLC! We went tonight and had a fun time! The boys had their moments, but for the most part did ok! Well Aiden did sleep through half of it in the stroller! It's just not Christmas time without going to see a huge room filled with beautiful Christmas trees and awesome Gingerbread houses! And who could leave without getting the cinnamon scones! I love Christmas time and I love the traditions we have in my family! Someday we should do a tree girls!! (There was a pretty cool Twilight tree there as well!)

P.S. Could anything be cuter than walking in my room and hearing Aiden talking to Grady and I look around the corner of the bed to find him reading a book to him just snuggled between my bed and Grady's crib! Moments like that are far and in between for me and I love them so much!!

Thanksgiving!!

I know this post is late but oh well! We had a great Thanksgiving at my mother in law, Debbie's house! She is such an awesome woman and a wonderful host! She did a lot of cooking and preparing for this day and made it wonderful for all of us as ususal! We love you Deb!! This is Grady's pre dinner warm up!! He like his Grandpa Kennard loves Thanksgiving!!!Here we are eating and eating and eating!

The Long Anticipated Twilight Prom!!!

I can't tell you how excited I have been waiting for this night to come! I worried all week on what to wear and what to expect when we got there! The night started out with Lauren picking up all the Utah county girls, me carlie and carla! We took pictures at Carla's house just like real prom! And to my surprise Eric got me a real corsage to wear to my prom! He is the best husband ever! (thanks for the suggestion Deb!)So here we are before we leave.....

We are ready to party! So we drive to Jordan Commons to meet up with leslie and melanee! We get there and to enter the party we have to walk the "red carpet" so of course everyone wanted our picture!

Then we met some guy thinking he was Edward! He was pretty weird!

Then we ate a bunch of Twilight themed food and had free drinks all night! Carlie loved that! Everyone got their hair or nails done and we took pictures with another random guy on what we imagine is Jacob's motorcycle!

After a lot of waiting it was finally time to watch the movie! We got as many free drinks as we could carry and sat down in this huge theater! They handed out goodie bags and free popcorn! Remember we were VIP!!! We waited what seemed like forever more, (thanks allyse's bridal) But then it started and I loved every minute of the movie!

So much in fact I went again the next night!! With my family (minus the boys I mean) and my friend Brooke, Carlie's friend Katie, and Courtney's friend Chessie! I loved the second time around too! I will be taking donations so I can go as often as possible, so contact me if you want to donate!! :)

I had a great weekend, one I will never forget! Thanks to all who came with me and made it sooo much fun!! As Carlie put it, now what will we do with our lives? New Moon please hurry!!!

Zoo Trip!

On Tuesday we went to the zoo with my friend Brooke and her two kids! It was great weather and we had a lot of fun! There was hardly anyone there and it seemed like it wasn't really open without all the crowds of people! We just took our time and let the kids guide us through the zoo! They loved the animals! Grady had a great time because he could get out of the stroller and look at the animals and really seemed to understand what they were! He even made his tiger sound when we saw the big cats! Aiden loved the carousel and rode on the snake! He also loved the zebras and wanted to get inside the fence with them! He kept saying, "Here zebra, zebra" We had a great time at the zoo! You probably can't tell but this Gorilla is eating it's own poop! We couldn't believe our eyes and my friend Brooke was afraid he was going to throw it at us! He didn't but the kids had a grose story to tell when we left! EEWWWW!!!

Halloween!!

It seems like my kids had to wear their costumes 10 times this week for different events! But we had a lot of fun and got way more candy then we need!! (Holiday weight here I come!) Anyway, these pictures are from the night we went to UVU they had trick or treating and Halloween craft and game stuff! Aiden especially liked the spider he had face painted! Grady of course loved the candy and Korbin (their youngest cousin) was just having fun being a cute little pooh bear!

Another Reunion!!

Last friday my friend Christine and I organized a lunch with all of the girls from our first year at Snow College! We've been wanting to do this for awhile but couldn't arrange the schedules. Finally it all came together and everyone met at my house for lunch! We all are married and have kids now (including Christine's little boy who is due in March) and it's was really fun to see how we have changed or stayed the same! We ate lunch and caught up on what everyone's been doing for the past 7 years! It was a lot of fun and I'm glad we did it! Thanks everyone for coming and bringing your cute kids to play! Let's continue to keep in touch!

Grady is Walking!!!

He is finally doing it! He started walking a lot tonight at my mom's house! Then when we got home he did it even more! In this video he followed me from the couch to get the cookie! Food always works with Grady! He even walked all the way out of Aiden's room by himself! Yay Grady! We are so proud you are finally trying to walk again, I guess he couldn't be traumatized from no longer nursing forever! Hooray!!! He will be 14 months on Tuesday! Just like big brother was!

I'm going to the Prom!!!

I know to most of you this is silly but I am way excited!!! I can't wait for the movie and now I am going on with my obsession by going to the Prom! It's pretty much a party before you see the movie! I have 5 ladies coming with me and you know who you are! It is going to be a lot of fun!! I can't wait!!!

Last saturday I went up to Salt Lake to my friend Leslie's house! We had a playdate with our friend Melanee from high school! It was fun to catch up and find out what everyone is doing in life now! I can't believe how much can change in 7 years! The kids had a great time playing and destroying Leslie's house! (sorry Les!) It's always fun to look back with friends and remember the crazy days of high school! Here is a picture of all of our kids together! I guess they were watching someone else! Let's play again soon!
